The subscritipon offers great works of classical concert literature in the interpretation of known national and international orchestras and soloists.

PODIUM Festival
This festival has taken place in Esslingen since 2009. It was created and organized by the Podium junger Musiker e.V.. It is an innovative and unique European Chamber Music Festival with young, mostly award-winning musicians from all over Europe.

Festival tonArt
This festival takes place every two years under the leadership of the tonArt e.V., which devotes itself exclusively to serious works by contemporary composers. Many of Esslingen’s cultural facilities participate in this event with exceptional music programs.

Church Music
In keeping with the city’s traditional role as an important center for religious music from medieval times to present day, Esslingen hosts several religious music event series. Every two years, the Oratory Club organizes a festival series that features a program of classic instrumental and oratorical music, as well as cabaret and jazz.

Jazz
Esslingen has always been a center for jazz music in Region Stuttgart. Due to its exquisite range of modern and experimental Jazz, the cultural center Dieselstrasse is known in all of Württemberg.

The Esslingen Jazzkeller reopened in 1995 and was considered one of the most important jazz venues in southern Germany in the 1960s. Many national and international musicians performed here or even started their career on this very stage. The Jazzkeller builds on this tradition with concerts featuring nationally and internationally famous musicians, but also local musicians from the region. more
Carillion
The regular live concerts played on the Old City Hall’s carillon, a rarity in southern Germany, offers an unforgettable musical experience.
