Deregistering the dog license fee
If you move your principle residence to another municipality or no longer have a dog, then you have to deregister your dog at your previous municipality.

Procedure
You can deregister your dog by appearing in person or in writing.
You can use the form "Deregistration of the dog license fee" to deregister your dog. This is available at your municipal offices or, depending on your municipality, is also offered as a download.
Deadlines
Cancellations are regulated in the local dog license by-laws and must be made within a month unless your local authority has set an alternative deadline.

Costs
No fees/charges apply. If you have already paid your dog license fee, a proportionate amount may be returned to you.
